Alissa Widman Neese, 2012, has authored Axios’ Columbus newsletter since 2021. Previously, she covered K-12 education at the Columbus Dispatch (2016-2021) and her hometown newspaper, the Sandusky (Ohio) Register (2013-2016). Alissa worked in various roles for The BG News throughout her college career, including as a reporter, copy editor, column writer and managing editor. She received the Waugh Award for her graduating class.
