About BGNAS

Founded in 2002, the BG News Alumni Society (BGNAS) is a connecting point for alumni who worked at the campus newspaper and provides an alumni support network for current BG News staff at Bowling Green State University. BGNAS annually co-sponsors a Homecoming Tent Party for alumni. BGNAS is an alumni affinity group affiliated with the university’s Alumni Association. # Buchanan named new BGNAS presidentThe election was not fake nor was it rigged, so we're excited to announce Tyler Buchanan will succeed Max Filby as BGNAS president. Also at Saturday's meeting, Jared Wadley was re-elected vice president, Mary Beth Eastman was elected secretary, and yours truly was elected treasurer (don't worry, I can't spell embezzle without spellcheck). **More big news:** Elizabeth Kimes Mcintyre will chair the newly formed communications committee.
